Whether it’s a new job, new school, or new city, there are times when “finding your people” can be pretty hard. Resonance is here to help with that. Co-founder and UCLA Professor Matthew Lieberman has pioneered the study of how the human brain is wired for social connection. To try to improve everyone's social lives, Dr. Lieberman has spent years developing and testing an artificial intelligence (AI) tool that can predict which people in a community are most likely to get along and be friends before they have ever met.
Today, you are going to fill out the Resonance survey that will allow us to identify a few people in your community who are most likely to be people that you personally will really get along with. Once enough people have filled out the survey from your community (i.e. school, workplace, neighborhood), we will let the AI do its magic and we will connect you to 3 or 4 people that could become some of your good friends.
Unlike most surveys that are about your personality or hobbies, our tool focuses on how you see world. Each of us notices different aspects of the environment and the situations we are in. We are not just talking about what you see visually with your eyes, but also the ways in which we see how other people are thinking and feeling and the relationships between people. We each bring different expectations, motivations, memories, and beliefs to bear on how we see the world and make sense of each moment. The questions in this survey will assess how you uniquely see the world. There are no right or wrong answers.
This survey will take 15 minutes to complete, but we think that’s a fair exchange for potentially meeting some lifelong friends. If you need to take a break, you can come back to it and the survey will remember your progress.
Thanks!
